I have a drawer full of new and vintage handkerchiefs that I have been collecting from yard sales, estate sales, antique markets and ebay. I get them out and lay them in arrays that I hope will look good, but in the end I fold them back up and tuck them back into the drawer. The other day I got them out again and picked the first 12. The hankies were all a light pink and a soft blue. I laid them in a 3 x 4 array and had an inspiration. This could be a vintage hankie baby blankie! It looked the perfect size to put in a crib or lay across a tiny bed. Here's what it looks like:
So pretty, and such a great idea to use up your precious hankies. Are you keeping this for future babies in your family?
